My particular journey to point is not straightforward. In fact, my road is unpaved and rocky, dotted with floods and brambles for good measure. Along this road, I've had the good fortune to meet incredible people. In the summer of 2014, I was a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago, and by that fall, I was helping to shape the newly founded Camigas Facebook group—a buddy system for women on the Camino. When the request for a patch arose, it was instinctive for me, a designer by trade, to make it a reality. It's still my best-selling patch. Inspired by the routes to Santiago and the many lives they shape, I designed these patches to serve as a celebration and inspiration for all our journeys.
I've been blessed with a family—a husband, three teenagers, a dog, and a cat—that support my wandering ways, often leaving me on the trail to moments of silence and to nurture my creativity.
In my spare time, I am a full-time high school teacher and a very part-time EMT for my island community.
Thank you for visiting my site—a creative expression of what excites me.
